Sliders, Kale Chips, and Sweet Potato Fries

Turkey Burger Sliders

Servings: Serving Size:

Ground turkey, rolled into small (2-inch in diameter) patties

Onion powder, to taste

Garlic powder, to taste

Salt, to taste

Ground Pepper, to taste

1.  Season meat, then place burgers on grill pan

2.  Grill on high heat, flip when done

3.  Serve with pita and toppings on the side.

Sweet Potato Fries

Yield: About 60 fries

3 large peeled sweet potatoes

2 tbsp olive oil

Sea salt, to taste

  1. Cut sweet potatoes into thick strips
  2. Place on baking sheet and drizzle with olive oil
  3. Season with sea salt
  4. Heat in oven at 350 degrees for 30 minutes

Kale Chips

Servings: 2 bunches of kale chips

Serving size: Approximately 1 small handful

Yield: 4 cups

2 bunches of raw kale, washed

2 tbsp olive oil

Sea salt to taste 

  1. Tear kale into bite-sized pieces
  2. Place in a large bowl and drizzle with olive oil and sea salt
  3. Line kale on a baking sheet. Do NOT layer! (This will cause the kale to steam rather than bake).
  4.  Heat kale at 350 degrees for 10 minutes.
